Obituary of Linda Faye Gordon
Linda Faye Gordon was born September 26th, 1949 in Little Rock, Mississippi & passed away on June 16, 2023, in Boise, Idaho, at the age of 73. She will be deeply missed by all who loved her.
Linda was the oldest of twin girls born to Jack & Annie Gordon, joining their older sister, Angie. The family later moved to Walla Walla, Washington, where their brother, James, was born. The family then moved to Ontario, Oregon, where Linda graduated from Ontario High School with a Special Education Diploma.
Linda was a life-long sports spectator and held season tickets for BSU basketball and football, and Boise Hawkes baseball. She also enjoyed attending Christmas programs and sing-alongs at the Morrison Center with her family. Horses were her greatest love in life, and she owned and shared her own horse, “Ladybird,” with her sister Gloria when her family lived on a ranch in Vale, OR.
Linda was a Christian & worshipped at Oakmont Christian Church in Saraland, AL, Dauphin Way Baptist Church in Mobile, AL, White Temple First Baptist Church in Walla Walla, WA, and First Baptist Church in Ontario, OR.
Linda is survived by her identical twin sister, Gloria Gordon, sister and her husband, Angie & Jeff Sugai, brother and his wife, James & Betty Gordon, niece and her fiancé, Jackie Sugai & Lucas Donaldson, nephew Jonathan Gordon, grand-nephews: Conner (Clare Holtzman), Garrett, Tate, Brennan, & Jackson Corbridge, close family relatives, Sondra & Christopher Fair, and cousins Mrs Elmer (Peggy) Blanton, and Toni Davis. The family would like to thank friends & staff at Tomorrow’s Hope & Communicare for enriching Linda’s and her family’s lives.
Family will celebrate Linda at Ontario, Oregon’s Evergreen Cemetery and staff & friends will celebrate Linda with a Celebration of Life at a later date.
