Kristie Meacham

Obituary of Kristie Meacham

Kristie Gay Meacham was born April 19, 1965 in Lawton Oklahoma. She married Glenn Stone in 1985 and had their first son, Shayne Stone not long after. In 2001, Jakob Stone was born where she and Shayne lived in Lewiston, Idaho. She married again to Dale Mills in 2005 where we lived in Saint John Washington, and she began her schooling. Her passion was helping people. After 6 hard years, she had finally completed her masters in social working and began working in that field. Not long after, they had moved to Hooker Oklahoma, where she began working for the hospital in Guymon. Family there and her job there was one of many things she greatly enjoyed being around. In 2010, they moved back to Washington to be closer to family there. It was at that point Kristie moved with Jakob to Lewiston, Idaho where we lived for a year or so. No matter what during all of this, she kept her passion for helping people and always continued any further in her career that she could. In Lewiston, she met her husband Dwayne Meacham, of Weiser, and not long after they married. In Weiser, she worked in Payette, Ontario, and other places counseling people and discovered her true passion for adolescent counseling. Her and Dwayne had a true love for each other and their dogs. They had a small farm out of Weiser and took care of their chickens and garden together. Till the end, my Kristie loved to cook. She is known for her German bierock and cinnamon rolls. All throughout her life, she made it a very big point that family was her pride and joy, and that love that came from that is something That can never be forgotten.

Kristie passed away at her home in weiser unexpectedly on April 1st, 2022. She was preceded in death by her adoptive father Terry, her mother Aymee Hofferber; and her step-father Albert Hofferber.
