Connel was a room mate of mine in Portland, Or. back in about 1969. Connel and his cousin, Chad Olson, were going to business college not far from Portland State where I was in school. I graduated from Nyssa with Chad in 1966. Connel was one of the nicest young men that I ever met. Polite, hard working and everything a parent could have wanted in a teenager! We had some great experiences together and I have thought of him many times over the last 50 years even if I only saw him once or twice again after he returned to Nyssa. I never met his wife and children, but I am sending you my heart felt sorry for your loss. To Connel’s children; your Dad was a wonderful, good person who I greatly respected and to Connel’s wife; he was taken much to soon but find peace in the knowledge that once again you will be reunited. Blessing to those you know and love.

May god bless your family during this time . Connel was a very special person. Since we were both from Nyssa and going to college in Portland Connel was my ride home anytime he was heading home. He was always so kind. My prayers are with your family.

Condolences
