Eric Rios

Eric Rios, 52, of Vale, Oregon, passed away on August 4, 2017 to join his mother Mary Rios. He was born and raised in Vale, Oregon and spent his whole life in Vale. He is survived by Ernest Rios, his father, Dee Rios and their two sons Eric Rios, Jr., and Derick Rios, and five grandchildren, seven brothers, one sister and their children. Many nieces and nephews.

He was the most loving, dedicated son, father, uncle and friend.

Visitation will be held 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 12, 2017 at Lienkaemper Chapel, Vale with Funeral Services following at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Valley View Cemetery in Vale.

    I am so sorry for you loss he was a great friend and i considered him as a big brother he was a mentor to my boys as well I will miss his laughter and his joking around. I will be praying for you guys .

    I’m so very sorry for your loss and that I won’t be able to be there to say goodbye to him.     Eric was my first friend in Vale. He was a good, honest man with many talents. I will miss him. My condolences to his family.

    while i didnt know eric well, i will always remember him coming into conferences for his sons and his personality and laughter lit up the rpom

    I will forever have the love and pride in my heart that you thought of me as your other sister Diana.
    I truly do not know who I would be or what would have become of me had you and Dad aka Erie not saw me crumpled in the bushes that day and helped me. That moment forever changed the 3 of us from friends and neighbors, to forever family.. I love you dearly.
    And p.s. I’m sorry Eric but it was me…the one who stole your thermos,
    Also. It was also me that talked Eric and Derrick into getting baby rats and then we dropped them in mom’s house.

    Gone too soon. Eric was a school classmate. He truly was a very kind person with a big heart. Always friendly, always wearing a smile, with a jovial, joking mannerism. Very sad . . .

    I am so sorry for the loss of your Dad. I remember him from D&B where I first met him and he was as sweet as could be. I later knew him thru his sons and he was such a sweet man and so proud of his sons. My prayers and thoughts are with you.

    We are so very sorry for your loss. Enjoyed many talks with Eric. He was a fun, smart, man. We could always count on him to fix any small engine troubles we might have, didn’t matter the when or where. He will be sorely missed by many, us included.

    I went to high school with Eric he was my best friend and brother, he was fearless and funny down to earth honest and always had my back… I will miss him dearly.
